Lake Cootharaba |
Pomona Vipassana Centre |
||
| Lake Cootharaba is 25 minutes from Gayatri, directly towards the coast. A beautiful, contemplative, shallow, warm lake. Great for children, wonderful for relaxation. From the opposite shore it's a ten minute walk to the beach. During the week the lake is still quiet, except for holidays. | |||||

| Rainbow Beach is also
the name of a small town. It has a beautiful beach, on one end
is Double Island, on the other Inskip
Point. There is a large national park with camping grounds. Hanggliders
often take off from the large sand dune , encouraged by all kinds of
birds. From above you can see dolphins, giant turtles, Mantas and many
more see creatures. |
