Running your own workshops and participating in groups at Gayatri

For workshops you can participate in, look up
 www.friendsofgayatri.Org

Details of Gayatri as a retreat centre for your group you find here.

For any questions  just send an email .

At quiet times individuals or very small groups can also stay in our guest accommodation,
or as friends of Gayatri, in the community house.

Gayatri is meant to be a homely place, rather than a commercial one.

We operate low key, close to nature,
inviting people who love being here and enjoy being part of a community spirit.
We have no employees and therefore we depend on everybody's supportive spirit
to keep operating at a rate affordable to most people

Our general fees are:

$450 per weekend for retreat hire. Weekend is from Friday  to Sunday night or Monday morning.

$ 20 per person per night.

During weekdays we  offer lower rates for the retreat hire.

The retreat can also be booked for longer periods.

The retreat is generally maintained by us.
If you want more done, or if you need to prepare for certain things,  you can come earlier and get the retreat  to the state you require.

If you need anything or if you have any problems,
there is usually someone around to help you out.

Our requests:
Please be aware of the following:

We usually have limited water resources.
In the kitchen this means, please use bowls for washing the dishes. Please be also aware of this when showering.

We have composting toilets of the Clivus Multrum type.
We firmly believe in them, they cause no pollution and waste no precious water.
For people who have a problem with them, we have two flushing toilets, in our community house.

We ask you to try out the composting toilets and only use the ecologically undesirable WCs if you find the composting toilets  too much of a challenge.
For the compost toilets to operate well, the lids must be closed after use, and no food scraps deposited in them. (Food scraps cause smell.)

Also they must not be clogged with big chunky papers or other objects. Small female toilet articles are okay.
Compost toilets are very
friendly to our environment .
Nothing gets into our waterways. Our waste products are dealt with the way nature intended. The composting process is quick in a warm climate, and the nursery gratefully receives the compost.

Our retreat facilities are free from cockroaches and mice.
To keep it that way, it is important that no food or drinks other than water are brought into the hall,
no food is left
in the kitchen, outside the fridge overnight, and all bench tops and floors need to be cleaned. Also, all doors and windows must be closed overnight to keep the wildlife out.
Please do not keep any food in the bedrooms at all. Cockroaches are very quick to move in.

Also, because we found out that cockroaches love to hide in the drain pipes, we ask that you tip the water in which you gave the dishes a first rinse or wash, out in the surrounding gardens. (There are no cockroaches so far, thanks to good management, and no poisons to keep it that way have been needed.)

Also, at night all building doors should be closed to keep wildlife out. Ideally even during the day while you are away from the room for longer. You can leave the windows open for ventilation.

The age of Aquarius has finally come, the age of Coming- together. All of a sudden it is so much easier to find like-minded people, to share our dreams and work together. We come together, mutually enriching each other, giving different things room side by side, in mutual respect. Anything that fosters people's capacity and motivation to work together for something worth while, and help us to open us to higher levels of being creative together, even in our thoughts.

A major emphasis at Gayatri is on paths that bring together what was separated, to serve reconciliation and bring together what does not know each other yet.

Gayatri hosts regular seminars in Family- constellations.

Marshall Rosenberg's "Non violent communication", also known as compassionate communication is also taught here.

We are working on groups involving children and youth.

Seminars in trauma healing are another area we like to offer courses in.

The mystic traditions of the earth are all invited, the depth of our commitment is to our reconnection to our source in its depth, in the many different ways that love can take.

Music, dance, and all things that celebrate the wonders of being alive on this beautiful earth are also on the menu.
